28-Year-Old Publishes 26 Books

K.L. Hall first picked up a pencil at 18 months old. Since then, she has used a pencil as a catalyst to bring to life characters and stories that move people and allow them to escape reality.
Early on in school, K.L. Hall enjoyed English, spelling and writing more than math.
K.L. Hall published her first book in 2013. Since the 28-year-old plunged into authorship, she has published 26 books. She's writren urban fiction, romance, and told stories that took her out of her comfort zone.
K.L. Hall studied print journalism at Virginia Commonwealth University. Aside from publishing books, she is a journalist. The author has written for newspapers, magazines, online publications. But none of that compares to the gratification she derives from publishing books that reflect her imagination.
Some people choose to write books because they think it is their ticket to stardum and acquiring wealth. K.L. Hall says that one should write with meaning.
“You have to write simply because you love it,” K.L. Hall advised. “You can't write for any other reason than that, not for money or fame.”
Writing for some can feel like solving a calculus problem. But if you do it out of love, it would not seem as complicated. K.L. Hall genuinely loves writing, and that is why she is able to complete writing a book in a short period.
Every author's journey is not parallel. For some, it takes 10 years to complete a book, others less. When K.L. Hall does not procrastinate and is fully focused, she can complete a book in a month and a half.
This is astonishing to the average person. But K.L. Hall says she's seen authors publish books every 2 weeks, and is inspired by their ambition.
Bianca Xaviera Jones, K.L. Hall's friend, describes the author: “ [K.L. Hall] is one of the sweetest people that I have ever met. We don't talk everyday, but we are always there for each other. She's very motivational and I learn a lot from her. She makes me want to be better.”
“All I ever wanted to do is tell great stories and fall in love with characters, characters that will continue to live on way after the story has eneded, “ K.L. Hall said.
K.L. Hall has published many adult books. In 2018, she decided to expand her creativity and published her first children's book “Princess for Hire.” The story is about a young girl (an orphan) who dreamed of becoming a princess. She came across a wealthy family that was looking to hire. The family hired her and eventually adopted her.
K.L. Hall received great feedback after publishing “Princess for Hire,” and travel to meet parents, grandparents and children who were moved by the story.
“ I did not know what to expect when I decided to publish a children's book. But the response that I got was crazy.”
all's ability to publish 26 books shows that if you choose a craft for love, and not only for money, the outcome can be worthwhile. She has shown that true gratification comes from engaging in an act that puts a smile your face and makes your heart palpate fast.
